Trail 3 of the Active Art Trails specially designed for the HEPA conference. This trail focuses on the Merchant City and towards the East End of the city. This trail provides some of the best examples of modern and contemporary public art within an historic city and set in traditional surroundings. This walk focuses on the Merchant City area which is experiencing an ongoing a programme of regeneration. The Merchant City has a thriving arts scene which includes various independant galleries, public artworks, the Tron theatre and is also host to biennial arts festivals.
