Trail 5 of the Active Art Trails specially designed for the HEPA conference. This trail focuses on the central and Merchant City area of Glasgow City Centre. This 'historical' trail of Glasgow will provide an insight into the wonderful, enduring architecture that lines streets of the city centre, whilst also celebrating some of the most influential figures from the city's past, immortalised in bronze sculptures around George Square. The trail then continues on to explore the Merchant City's Italian centre, centred in the plush surroundings of some of the Glasgow's most exclusive shops, bars and restaurants.
