This list is based on my experiences after trying lattes at nearly 100 different espresso houses and drive-thrus. I actually collected those paper logo cups from each place. (Unused...I'd ask for an extra cup.)

Then I moved to Capitol Hill in Seattle for a few years. I tried lots of coffee there. According to Yahoo Yellow Pages, there are 120 places to drink it within 2 miles of my apartment. I avoided a place called Vivace because it always had a long line. One day I waited it out, and that was the day I stopped collecting cups.

Vivace is my hands down favorite for consistent excellent taste...which is one of the main factors I've based my list on.
