You are in a foreign country, your language skills are poor and you need information. Got fear? RELAX! Buy a cup of coffee/tea at La Alcoba(no wifi, but on waterfront), Su Taza, Cafe Arabiga or any other wifi/cafe in Ensenada and you will find plenty of young, English-speaking, new friends who will be happy to point you in the right direction. Ensenada has a large, educated population and a tourism industry that depends upon Gringos. Treat your hosts with respect + a smile and you will learn more than any guidebook or website ;) can offer.

I've never been to a hoe down here, but, I use it as a landmark for those navigation south from downtown Ensenada. Turn left/west here to reconnect with Hwy1 in 1/2 mile at the Pemex.
