Bicycle & Pedestrian Issues & Suggested Improvements
City Greenbelt, Maryland
Welcome! This map has two main purposes: 1) to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the issues that affect conditions for bicycling and walking in the City of Greenbelt; and 2), from the range of issues identified, to get a sense which ones have the greatest impact on the most people.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE BASIC STEPS:
1. Review the issues and suggested improvements already on the map.
Issues and suggested improvements are indicated by markers and paths.
2. Enter comments for issues and suggested improvements that you feel are particularly important or require further explanation.
--Review the content of a marker by clicking the marker icon on the map or clicking the link provided in the locations list on the left-hand side of the screen.
--Add comments by clicking on the “Add Comment” link provided at the bottom of the callout box for each marker.
3. Add issues and suggested improvements that are not already represented by adding markers and paths to the map.
--Add markers by clicking on the "Add Marker" link at the top of the page and then clicking the appropriate location in the map. Please enter a short, descriptive title and category for all added markers. Use the “Description” field to elaborate further on the nature of the issue addressed or improvement suggested.
--Add paths by clicking the “Start A Path” link at the top of the page and then clicking at successive points on the map to indicate the direction of the path. (Note: More than two points are required to make a curved path). Promote at least one of path’s end points to a marker by clicking on the end point and clicking “Promote to Marker” in the call-out box. Please enter a short, descriptive title and category. Use the “Description” field to elaborate.
--NOTE: Use markers instead of paths where possible. Markers are preferable because they are easier to enter.
