5-11-2013. Hey Gary, since we have traded places in a few races I am certain your times will come down. I am looking forward to watching your progress and may have to start up the stairs again myself. There is nothing like a bit of competition to instagate one to dust off the shoes and put on the stop watch. Best of luck to you.

10-25-2011. Last Saturday I got into Hoodriver late, and decided to run 5 stair laps. It was about 7:30 pm and dark. I found that running the stairs at night was not bad at all. There is just enough light from the stair lights to let one see, and run safely. So if you are at the end of your day and want to get some juices flowing I would recommend the stairs, even if its night time, know your limits though. Have fun and enjoy yourself.

10-9-2011. I have been running 3 to 5 stair laps twice a week now. I tried to set a new PR a week or so ago and missed it by 4 seconds, a half hearted try. Since running stair laps my 5k and 10k times have come down, and I have not been beaten in my 5k age group, 50-54 year olds. What a great training tool. And to all of you good looking ladies going up and down the stairs, here's to ya ;). Good luck to all fast or slow.

8-20-2011. I set another PR for running the stairs. My new time is 2 minutes and 27 seconds. I hit every stair and round my time up to the nearest second. Good luck to all, fast or slow.

I run the stairs a couple of times a week. My record for going up and hitting every stair is 2 minutes 31 seconds, rounded up. Good luck to all of you who do it fast or slow.
