The Arts Map is something that’s been part of the Door County visual arts scene for many years – and it’s something that originated with the Hardy Gallery. PAHA (Peninsula Arts & Humanities Alliance) took over the printing of the Map in the 1990s, and, after the group reorganized their focus, discontinued printing the map in 2007. After receiving feedback and having countless conversations with Door County visual arts community, which also included a survey sent out to the Hardy's artist constituency, it became apparent that the need for an Arts Map was overwhelming. The Map provides an easy-to-use format that lays out galleries geographically on the peninsula – and provides a great tool for any patron of the visual arts.
