This 6 BR/4 BA home near the ocean has an oversized pool and provides spacious living both inside and out. At 4500 sq ft., it comfortably sleeps up to 16 and is perfect for multi-family gathering. In a great location, your 3-minute walk to a magnificent, seldom crowded beach takes you under a canopy of pines, palms and oaks.


You will enter the home in a spectacular great-room with a 2-story cathedral ceiling, massive floor to ceiling fireplace, wet bar with a small refrigerator, and a big screen TV. You will immediately notice that this is a roomy home decorated in a "beachy" style that is organized for your privacy and comfort.


In front of the decorative fireplace, the family/TV area has two sofas, a large coffee table, and chair and ottoman all situated for your TV entertainment. On the other end of the great room, a large accent wall overlooks a conversation center complete with love seat and two chairs.


At the far end of the great room is a raised mini-office area that opens to a private deck. You will have a place to store your golf clubs, a computer table and wireless access to the internet so you can remain connected to the "outside world".


The open living concept continues into a large kitchen with breakfast bar. Adjacent to the kitchen is a sunny dining area with seating for twelve. The dining area features a wall of windows that overlook lush landscape, a patio and the pool.


At the end of the kitchen, a beautiful Carolina room extends across the back of the house. It has two sofas, one of which is a sleeper. This room is surrounded by large windows that offer a view of the entire, private, fenced in back yard.


Outside you can lounge on the patio or swim in an oversized 16' x 38' pool that is surrounded by a manicured lawn and palms. Spanish moss hangs from mature live oak trees that provide late afternoon shade to the pool and patio. A gas grill is located near the patio. A high wood fence encloses the back yard and pool area making it a private setting.


Finishing off the first floor of the home are two bedrooms sharing a full bath with shower. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a set of twin trundle beds offering sleeping for four.


At the top of the stairs is a large landing that overlooks the great room below. Off the landing, double doors open into the first master suite. A king bed sits in front of a large slanted window. Your view of the lush foliage and Spanish moss just outside the window gives the illusion of looking into a tropical greenhouse. The first master suite also features a sitting area with two lounge chairs and a spacious master bath with spa tub and shower.


Off the hall at the end of the upstairs landing is the second master suite. Much like the first master suite, it features a king bed and a sitting area. The master bath has a shower only.


Down the hall, the fifth and sixth bedrooms have sets of twin beds and share a bath with a combination shower and tub. A washer and dryer complete the second floor.


For your comfort, every room in the home has at least one ceiling fan. There are multiple TV's and DVD's throughout, including a TV in each of the bedrooms.
