The South Plant process consists of conventional activated sludge for BOD and solids removal, trickling filters for ammonia removal, alum addition and clarification for phosphorus removal, chlorine addition for disinfection, sulphur dioxide addition for de-chlorination and final re-aeration for effluent dissolved oxygen.
We operate our own State Certified Laboratory for all reporting analysis required by the State of Minnesota. We also operate and maintain 17 lift stations.
