KSU Campus Greens and Cobb Citizens for Peace are organizing "Southern Discomfort"--A Concert for Peace and Justice, featuring a diverse lineup of prgoressive hip-hop, folk, rock, and spoken word artists, including DAVID ROVICS, COLLECTIVE EFFORTS and HOPE FOR A GOLDENSUMMER. Festival also includes a fair trade market and space for activist tabling (must contact for permission). Legacy Gazebo at Kennesaw State University, 1000 Chastain Road, 4-10 PM. They need as many volunteers as possible to help with donation bucket-passing, operating merch. tables, helping tech. contractors, stage set-up/break-down, clean-up, set-up (starts at 1 PM), crazy last-minute things.
