Two museums explore Deadwood's legendary history through changing exhibits and special programs. The Adams Museum, 54 Sherman, has evolved into the premier history museum in the Black Hills. Artwork and artifacts explore the natural history and pioneer past of the northern Black Hills. The Adams House, 22 Van Buren, untouched for 50 years, recounts the tragedies and triumphs of two of Deadwood's founding families.
Both sites are open year-round.
