Algae Biosciences Corporation (AlgaeBio) is a privately owned biotechnology company. Using a patented system, it produces ultra-pure products from microalgae and macroalgae in a facility located near Holbrook, Arizona. The company has been producing microalgae on a small scale since October 2006. With its full-scale production facilities nearly complete, AlgaeBio anticipates selling its first microalgae-based product shortly after securing funding for production ramp-up.
