1919 N. Bartlett St. A second-year vegetable garden, with raised beds made from scrap lumber and found materials, in a very small back yard. Planted by the moon, and based on the principles of intensive gardening with trellises as well as companion planting. Hoop cold frames for year round greens. A self-designed watering system utilizes soaker hoses with filtered city water. Also features a rainwater catchment system and extensive mulching.
