"A less-expensive alternative to Ann Taylor", this "ubiquitous" women's chain draws "office"-oriented types with its "business-casual" suits, dresses and separates (including a "particlarly satisfying" petites selction) that perhaps are "not very exciting" but can be had "without breaking the bank"; though to style setters it's "double-dull", "conservative" types swear by it, especially at sale time (they "really know how to mark down a garment").
