Because everyone in Cincinnati runs red lights (thanks to the so-called "long yellow rule"), any intersection with traffic signals can be very dangerous, especially if you're on a bike. Pedestrians are slightly safer, but not much, around the University of Cincinnati, because drivers at least expect students to be walking near campus.
