Police are investigating an assault which occurred on Mulgrave Road on Friday night. It is alleged that a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were walking along Mulgrave Road shortly after 9.30pm when a number of offenders stopped an alighted from a vehicle before assaulting the couple. The offenders then left and attacked the couple a second time a short time later along the same road. The victims suffered cuts, abrasions and bruising. Police would like to speak with two teenage females and an older teenage man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
