airns police have charged a 29-year-old Parramatta Park man with one count each of forgery, contravene a direction, obstruct police and robbery. It is alleged the man was intercepted in a vehicle on Gatton Street, Westcourt at about 12.00am yesterday and produced a forged drivers licence. Alert officers identified the man as a suspect for an alleged armed robbery that occurred on 1 July 2009 at a licensed premises on Pease Street Manunda. The man appeared in the Cairns Magistrates Court yesterday.
