Assault and wilful damage, Mulgrave Road

Police are investigating the alleged assault of a store employee and wilful damage of a Mulgrave Road convenience store around 12.05 yesterday morning. It is alleged that two offenders entered the store and threw cans of drink at the store attendant causing him to duck for cover, the hurled cans caused damage to the walls. The offenders tried to flee and allegedly repeatedly kicked and broke a locked electronic door. The victim opened the doors and the offenders ran from the scene. It is believed that both offenders were around 25-years-old, with dark complexions, around 165cms tall and of average build. One male had a shaved head with longer hair at the front and the other male was wearing a cap.
