Two Bungalow women have been charged following an incident at the Cairns Base Hospital yesterday morning. Around 3.30am, it is alleged the two women attended the hospital to obtain treatment. One woman allegedly became verbally abusive toward staff before allegedly assaulting a security guard. As a result of the incident, a 21-year-old woman was charged with one count each of common assault, public nuisance and resist police. An 18-year-old woman was also charged with one count each of public nuisance and resist police. Both will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on November 24.
