A 24-year-old Mooroobool man will appear in Cairns Magistrates Court today charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm in company. It is alleged he assaulted a 20-year-old Gordonvale man at about 5am on July 23 on Sheridan Street near the intersection of Hartley Street, Cairns. The man sustained non-life threatening facial fractures and received treatment at the Cairns Base Hospital.
