Assault occasioning bodily harm, Edmonton

Police are investigating an assault on a 17-year-old local man at Stokes Street address around 8pm on Saturday. Four offenders allegedly approached the victim asking for cigarettes. When the victim refused he was allegedly hit from behind forcing him to fall to the ground where he was kicked. The victim sustained abrasions to his shoulder, neck, back and cheek along with a swollen nose and bruising to the eyes. The offenders are male, with dark complexions and believed to be aged in their mid to late teens.
