Police are investigating the assault of an 18-year-old local man at Martyn Street, Parramatta Park around 2.50 yesterday afternoon. The man was walking his bike in the bike lane next to friends when a car approached from behind and sounded its horn. The vehicle returned a short time later and two males allegedly approached the victim and pulled him off his bicycle before making several attempts to assault him. The victim sustained grazes to his arms and received treatment at the scene. The vehicle is believed to be a blue four door sedan. Both offenders are described as being of Aboriginal or Torre Strait Islander in appearance, 183cm tall with a medium builds and black hair.
