A 36-year-old Whiterock man is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on December 22 to face charges of entering a dwelling with intent and assault occasioning bodily harm, following the alleged assault of a 44-year-old man at a Skull Road caravan park on Saturday evening. Police were called to the park just after 7pm and the man was arrested a short time later. The victim was subsequently treated at the Cairns Base hospital for scratches and swelling to the face and arm.
