Asterdale is a sports ground which is home to a number of local sporting teams including:
- Anchor Bowmen Archery Club
- Asterdale FC
- Borrowash Victoria FC
- Graham Street Prims
- Leesbrook Asterdale Rugby Club
- Spondon Bowls Club
- Spondon Colts FC
- St Lukes & St Michaels Cricket Club

The club on the site closed in 2005 and has been closed since.
