A 17-year-old Manoora man has been charged after he allegedly made several attempts to assault a police officer after being asked to leave the car park area of the main police station at approximately 7.30pm on Sunday. The man was charged with assault police and trespass and is due to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court today.
