Bad transition from trail to intersection

The existing curb cut is at the corner. Cyclists are coming from the trail to the east, from eastbound Water Street, and off the bridge. How about a ramp that would bring you from the bridge to westbound Water Street's travel lane, like the curb ramps that were added at the southern end of the Birmingham Bridge?
