Police are investigating an incident of bag theft near the intersection of Martyn and Minnie Streets on Saturday afternoon. A 26-year-old woman was riding along Minnie Street when she was approached by a group of three male youths. One of the youths then grabbed the woman’s shoulder bag, causing her to fall from her bicycle. The offenders then fled in opposite directions along Martyn Street. They are described as being of Aboriginal appearance and aged in their teens. The woman suffered grazing to her hand and both knees as a result of the incident.
