Bedford Ave near Crosstown

Category: Hazard along existing routes

Coinciding with the current redevelopment of the Lower Hill District, better bike and ped access is warranted in this area. A friend of mine delivered a reasonable proposal to the city for a walkway that would start here and cross the expressway, Bigelow Blvd. and Liberty Ave, ending near the Westin with a secondary access on the other side of Liberty to Penn Station.

Barring such a big project, better demarcations for peds and bikes would be welcome in this area.
