Big Hot is about 1 1/2 miles due south of Travertine Hot Springs, it is private property and NUBP as there are structures built near the pools and the gates are kept locked. The name Big Hot is a misnomer as the water in the pools is usually around 85F, never the less it was a very popular soak in the past.
