Review: Review: There's a genial, sporty vibe at this lively family-owned lodge-campground-marina. It's a happy mix of tent campers (who have the choicest waterfront real estate on the property), RVers who look pretty permanent (the lawn gnomes are a clue), and motel-dwellers who like to mingle at the roof-pool and maybe play a little poker later. Rooms have tile floors, wicker furniture, doors that allow sea breezes to blow through, queen-size beds, a second-bedroom loft, and vaulted ceilings. A skywalk joins them with a pool and deck. Camping sites range from rustic to full hookups. Everything is clean—even the campers' bathhouse—and service is good-natured but efficient. Separate game and recreation rooms have TVs, organized family-oriented activities, and other amusements.
