Bog Hot Springs is nine miles west of Denio Junction on Nevada Highway 140, then northwest on a gravel road almost four miles. Look for a steaming ditch leading from several springs to a pond.

The springs pump out an astonishing 1,000gpm of hot water; basically a hot river that flows a mile to a reservior, or bog, to watering. Before it gets that far the hot water is impeded to form a large pool of 103F spring water for public soaking.
