The Bowmanville Boulder and Plaque was located in a public park naming the 14 women murdered December 6th, 1989, and dedicated to all female victims of violence. Some time later, a group of male voices were heard shouting at night in the park. The next morning the memorial was missing and has never been found. But it is our intention that the memorial can live on in memory here.
