Boy arrested over theft of car keys, Manunda

: Detectives from the Child Protection and Investigation Unit have arrested and charged an 11-year-old Yorkeys Knob boy with entering a premises and committing an indictable offence after he allegedly stole a set of car keys from a Holden sedan parked at a residence in Little Street at about 11.30am on Friday. It is alleged that at about 10.20pm a group of children later attended the address and attempted to start the vehicle however they were disturbed by the owner and fled. The boy is due to appear in the Cairns Children’s Court later today
