Police are investigating a burglary offence that occurred at a Roma Close residence on Monday. Thieves forced entry to the rear of the house sometime between 11am and 1pm and stole a quantity of jewellery items. They then stole the owner’s motor vehicle from the locked garage area and drove from the location. The vehicle is described as being a 2004 Toyota Landcruiser station wagon. The vehicle is white in colour and when stolen was bearing Queensland registration 013-HXT. Owners are reminded to secure vehicle keys in an effort to deter offenders.
