Around 1o’clock this morning a Grantala Street resident woke from his sleep on the couch to find two men standing in his kitchen. The intruders fled after stealing the victim’s wallet. The victim gave chase and then became aware of a third offender waiting in the garage area of the unit block. The offenders were last seen riding north on Yongala Street. Two of the offenders were believed to be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance and the third male was believed to be Caucasian.
