Smithfield police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at an O’Shea Esplanade residence at Machans Beach between 11am and 7pm yesterday. The offender/s allegedly ransacked the entire house. Police believe that the offender/s spent considerable time at the residence due to amount of property disturbed within the house. No property was damaged as a result of the break and enter however offender/s allegedly stole a quantity of personal items, electrical equipment and clothing.
