Browning FFA members conducted an FFA/PALS(Partners in Active Learning Success) program with youth from Vina Chattin Elementary School and the Napi Elementary School. The FFA members met with students at least twice a month for one hour after school to participate in agricultural based lessons that support general content standards in reading, math and science. Additionally mentors and mentees participated in educational and community service based activities. The overall goal of this project is to support increases in understanding and test scores of participants by working on literacy and education while having fun!
