Burglary and theft of motor vehicle, Woree

Thieves entered a Toogood Road unit in Woree via an unlocked door on Saturday night. Once inside they stole a sum of money and a mobile phone as well as the keys to the resident’s motor vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently stolen from outside the residence and is still outstanding. It is described as being a green 2001 model Toyota Camry sedan. When stolen the vehicle was bearing Qld registration 835-GJJ. Residents are reminded to take basic precautionary measures with regard to property and vehicle security in order to avoid falling victim to opportunistic offenders.
