olice are reminding residents to take responsibility for their personal security following a burglary at a Mayers Street unit on Sunday night. Thieves entered the unit via an unlocked door and stole a sum of money from a wallet which had been left in the dining room. Residents are urged to take basic security precautions in order to avoid falling victim to opportunistic offenders.
