Child Protection Unit detectives have charged a number of people with a series of property related offences after it is alleged four vessels were broken into on Monday night at the Marlin Marina. Property including alcohol, clothing and bicycles were allegedly stolen and later recovered by police. A 17-year-old Manoora man was charged with three counts of enter premises and commit, five counts of enter premises with intent and one count of attempted enter premises with intent. He will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today.

Three boys aged 15, 14 and 12 were also charged will all be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act. Investigations are continuing.
