Police are investigating a burglary offence that occurred at a Mackellar Close residence on Saturday night. It is believed that thieves entered a vehicle outside the address and located a garage door remote control unit which was subsequently used to enter the residence. A phone; a sum of money and a set of car keys were stolen from the house and the keys were then used to steal a car which was parked outside. The vehicle is described as being a silver 2009 Nissan Tida sedan and when stolen was bearing Queensland registration 693LSV.
