Burglary with violence, Woree

Police are searching for a man who broke into a Sandown Close home around 11.30 last night before threatening the homeowner with a sword stolen from the residence. The man was disturbed by the victim in the front yard of the residence before motioning towards with victim holding the stolen sword in the air. The man then fled along Sandown Close. He is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, 180cm tall with black curly hair, he was wearing a red baseball cap that had yellow writing on the front, a dark t-shirt and shorts and is believed to be aged in his 20’s.
