Carara National Park is over 11,600 acres of costa rican primary forest. It is one of the largest and most protected biological reserves in the country. Carara national park is often visited for the abundance of wildlife and excellent bird watching. among some of the animals that can be seen are sloths, tucans, scarlet macaws, white faced monkeys, crocodiles and ocelots.
