The World Oral Literature Project is pleased to be able to host video footage and related articles from the first National Storytelling Conference, Bhutan, 28-30 June, 2009.

International and Bhutanese folklorists and storytellers gathered at the Centre for Bhutan Studies, Thimphu, to examine oral culture in Bhutan, its past, present and future.

The collection includes presentations, storytelling and musical performances.
