Chena Hot Springs is a geothermal mineral spring near Fairbanks, Alaska. The spring has been used commercially since 1905, when a pair of brothers arrived to set up shop. Chena Hot Springs is a popular get-away for Fairbanks residents (including students at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks), and is a popular tourist destination (especially for tourists from Japan).

In addition to soaking in the pools (the outside Hot Springs Rock Lake is the best), there are four-season activities, such as hiking / showshoeing, snowmachining, flight-seeing, watching the northern lights (late fall, winter, early spring only), and just plain relaxing.
