A teenage girl has been charged after allegedly assaulted a woman on Wednesday March 2. It will be alleged that the girl seriously assaulted a 24-year-old woman at a residence on Chandra Close, Redlynch around 10pm. The victim suffered superficial burns as a result of the incident. The girl then stole the victim’s motor vehicle, which was later located damaged on Mulgrave Road, Westcourt. The child was charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm; unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing and will be dealt with under the provisions of The Youth Justice Act 1992.
