One of the finest new parks built since 1990 - unfortunately it is only used for a month during spring training. It is not used by a minor league team during the summer. As the name would indicate, there are numerous palm trees surrounding the park. They line the outfield fence making for a very attractive backdrop. The stadium itself feature a partially covered grandstand where approximately 2/3 of the seats have a roof overhead. The seating area is split by a small concourse area. For 2001, a bleacher section was added on the grassy knoll area down the right field line, to the dismay of many fans. The main concourse area is located under the seating and has both parts that are covered and uncovered. The concourse features numerous concession stands as well as a nice gift shop. If you're a Red Sox fan, this is the place to be in March. Just a really nice park to take in a spring training game.
