Crotched Mountain (East)
Category: Abandoned Ski Areas
**April 2008**
Trails: A bit more distinguishable with the snowpack. RAPIDLY going back to nature. Trees from the former edges of the ski trails/liftlines rapidly taking over the slopes.
Lifts: Same. Lower T-bar only one that remains.
Facilities: Lodge had been broken into. Looked like it was an old ski school building.
Accessibility: Same. Exercise caution and don't stick around longer than you have to.
**June & October 2007**
Trails: Difficult to distinguish because of new growth. Lower T-bar slope that is separate from the main area still obvious though.
Lifts: Upper lift and T-bar removed, probably sometime around when Crotched West reopened. The only lift still standing is the Lower T-bar, which stood entirely intact (minus T's).
Facilities: Old boarded up base lodge still stands, growing into the weeds.
Accessibility: Located on a "residents and guests only" road, so caution is reccomended. ATV trails do run through the old ski area though.
