Dick's Tow
Category: Abandoned Ski Areas
**May 2008**
Trails: Lots of newer growth, but with a little imagination it isn't too tough to discern where the slope was.
Lifts: Nothing REALLY was left of the lift, but there was a stone/concrete foundation at the base of the area that could have served as a base platform for a ropetow. Strange metal frame right next to this as well (though other info indicates this could have been some kind of furnace).
Facilities: Nothing really at all, aside from the foundation/metalwork.
Accessibility: There is an old, overgrown strip of pavement that runs just inside a large corner on route 4 just east of the Killington access road. The slope/foundation/metal are in the woods just inside this corner. This is the PROBABLE location of the old ski area. Not confirmed for sure, but it does a good job of impersonating one.
