Early on Saturday morning a 25-year-old Holloways Beach man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of liquor after he was intercepted on the Holloways Beach Access Road at about 12.20am. The man allegedly returned a breath alcohol reading of .186%. He was also charged with driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle and unlicensed driving. He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on March 22.
